Development of Early Childhood Intervention Services (ECI) in the Regions of Georgia

The goal of the project is timely identification of young children (under 0-7 age group) those with developmental disabilities/delays or at risk in the regions of Georgia – and to get them involved in local early intervention services. Besides, it envisages advocacy campaigns for the implementation of the State Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Program, informing municipality authorities, medical personnel, pre-school administration and parents by strengthening them in a) essential knowledge and information about the importance of ECI; b) by the necessary instruments and skills; c) via suggesting solution ways to the local municipalities and stakeholders for supporting the above-mentioned ECI services.
